Jiiva, Shalini Pandey's 'Gorilla' starts with a Pooja:

ctor Jiiva starrer 'Gorilla', directed by debutant Don Sandy kick started today with a pooja. Arjun Reddyfame Shalini Pandey plays the female lead opposite Jiiva. 

The film is said to be a heist-comedy thriller. While Sam CS of Vikram Vedha fame has been brought on board for music, Ruben looks after the editing.

The film's producer Vijayaraghavendra earlier said, "Don Sandy came up with this interesting script, an out-and-out laugh riot with some thriller elements. 

We wanted someone who can do both comedy and action pretty well, and felt Jiiva would be apt. As for the heroine, the role demanded someone fresh and talented.

 We chose Shalini Pandey, who has become a hot favourite in Tollywood and Kollywood after Arjun Reddy."
